Green Educational Opportunities

Welcome to the educational portion of Irving's Think Green … Be Green Web site. Irving offers many opportunities for residents to participate in the learning process of being better environmental stewards through attending classes related to a variety of specific environmental topics. Each opportunity is designed to give the student an in-depth look at each topic along with steps the student may take at home or office to increase their environmental impact. Professionals who work in those related areas have been invited to teach each class so that the student will receive first-hand knowledge about the latest technology as it relates to the topic.

• Ornaments from Recycled Materials
  Dec. 8 - 4 to 6 p.m.
• 2010 Spring Master Composter Training Course
  Feb. 27 and March 6 - 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (must attend both days)
