Candle-Making

For women in Colonial America, colonial candle making was necessary because there was no electricity and families needed a source of light. Colonial taper candles were the most commonly created candles during this time. Of course, today, candle-making is faster, using a variety of materials, scents, and styles. Do something different this holiday.  Participants in this class will learn the art of candle-making with hands-on experience. Seating is limited. Pre-registration is required.
