Independence Day Activities
The city’s annual Independence Day Parade will begin at 9 a.m. July 4 in downtown Irving. Immediately following the parade, a patriotic program will be held at Heritage Park, 217 Main St. The program will feature a symphony concert, free watermelon and kids activities. Irving’s Firecracker Fourth patriotic concert and fireworks will be held the evening of July 4 in Las Colinas’ Williams Square, 5221 N. O’Connor Blvd. Gates will open at 5 p.m. so attendees can enjoy music by local entertainers. The symphony concert will begin at 8 p.m. For more information, call (972) 831-8818.
