All Aboard DART's New Green Line to the State Fair

Being green just got easier. Did you know that DART trains have the same emissions as a golf cart, which is next to nothing and use 23.7% less energy per passenger mile than a typical car?

Beginning Friday, Sept. 25, its all aboard DART's new Green Line to the State Fair of Texas. For the first time in more than 50 years fair-goers can ride a train to the front gates of the fair on Parry Avenue. Just jump on the Trinity Railway Express in Irving and ride to Victory Station. Transfer to DART Rail's new Green Line for direct service to Fair Park Station and the front gates, or MLK, Jr. Station just a short walk from the museums and attractions on the park's southwest side. The ride costs just $5 for a Day Pass from West Irving and South Irving stations; $7.50 from Centerville/DFW Airport Station. It's a cheap, convenient and fun way to get out of traffic and help reduce pollution. For detailed schedule information go to www.DART.org/statefair or call (214) 979-1111.
