To enhance transparency and provide taxpayers accurate information regarding financial matters, the City of Irving is pleased to offer residents direct access to the “Budget Guy.” Residents have until Sept. 22 to ask the Budget Guy questions regarding the FY 2010-11 budget by e-mailing knowthefacts@cityofirving.org. The Budget Guy will respond to all questions within two business days and post answers to the Know the Facts webpage. Submittals are subject to editing for content, tone and clarity. All submissions will be posted anonymously.

Public Hearing: 7 p.m. Sept. 9 and 23, City Council Chambers, City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd. The City Council will conduct a public hearing on the 2010-11 City of Irving budget including General Fund, Water and Sewer System Funds, Solid Waste Fund, Garage Fund, Interest and Sinking Funds, Capital Improvement Funds, Other Funds and Irving Convention and Visitors Bureau Funds.
