  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2017 - June 30, 2017 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

  3. “Magical Mystery Tour,” Theatre Camp with Child’s Play Touring Theatre

    June 19, 2017 - June 23, 2017 @ Irving Arts Center

    This in-depth theater camp is led by Child’s Play Touring Theatre’s professional artists. Students ages 7 to 14 will learn and develop skills in acting, improvisation, singing, movement, writing, production, adaptation and much more. They will rehearse and stage a final performance that includes plays, songs and dances created from the stories and poems written by the campers themselves. Final performance is at 6:30 p.m. June 23.

  4. “With a Little Help from My Friends,” Intro to Theatre Mini-Camp

    Everyone has an invisible bucket! Through song and story inspired by “How Full is Your Bucket? For Kids” by Tom Rath and Mary Reckmeyer, junior campers, ages 4 to 5, will explore together how to fill invisible buckets. The week concludes with a presentation for families and friends.
