Animal Services

  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2017 - June 30, 2017 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

  3. “Magical Mystery Tour,” Theatre Camp with Child’s Play Touring Theatre

    June 19, 2017 - June 23, 2017 @ Irving Arts Center

    This in-depth theater camp is led by Child’s Play Touring Theatre’s professional artists. Students ages 7 to 14 will learn and develop skills in acting, improvisation, singing, movement, writing, production, adaptation and much more. They will rehearse and stage a final performance that includes plays, songs and dances created from the stories and poems written by the campers themselves. Final performance is at 6:30 p.m. June 23.

  4. “With a Little Help from My Friends,” Intro to Theatre Mini-Camp

    June 19, 2017 - June 23, 2017 @ Irving Arts Center

    Everyone has an invisible bucket! Through song and story inspired by “How Full is Your Bucket? For Kids” by Tom Rath and Mary Reckmeyer, junior campers, ages 4 to 5, will explore together how to fill invisible buckets. The week concludes with a presentation for families and friends.

  1. Irving Concert Series 4 Kids

    June 22, 2017, 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Irving Soccer Complex

    Introducing a new music series designed specifically for our smallest residents, the Irving Concert Series 4 Kids brings live entertainment to the toddlers and preschoolers of Irving! These Thursday morning concerts feature fun performances by top children's music groups from across the country. Children ages 5 and under are invited to sing, dance and learn at these interactive shows. Limited covered seating is available, and attendees are encourage to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Restrooms are available on-site; smoking is prohibited. Parking and admission are free to all shows; all children must be supervised by an adult. In the event of inclement weather, shows will be moved to an indoor location. Check the website for additional details regarding this new music series.
