Animal Services

  1. Free Cat Adoptions

    June 1, 2017 - June 30, 2017 @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    June is Adopt-a-Cat Month at the Irving Animal Care Campus, 4140 Valley View Lane. Adoption fees for cats 1 year and older are waived during June, and kittens are available for a $50 adoption fee. Vaccinations, spay/neuter, leukemia test and microchip included with all cat adoptions.

    All adoptions must be processed 30 minutes before closing.

  2. Affordable Spay/Neuter for Pets - Appointments Required

    June 7, 2017, 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM @ Spay/Neuter Clinic

    Schedule your appointment to have your pet spayed or neutered at an affordable cost.

    Pets are dropped off at 8 a.m. at the Irving Animal Care Campus and picked up same day around 4 p.m.

    Services provided by Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP).

  3. Affordable Vaccinations for Pets - No Appointment Needed

    June 7, 2017, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Irving Animal Care Campus

    Available services include vaccinations, microchipping, heartworm testing, heartworm prevention and flea/tick control. A full set of annual vaccinations for a cat or dog is just $25!

    Students in Kindergarten to grade 12. Kick off the summer by taking a tour of the universe or our solar system in the mobile planetarium from the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. Space limited, tickets required. No children 3 years and younger will be admitted. Irving's Summer Reading Challenge 2017 is made possible by grants from the Friends of Irving Public Library, BAPS Charities, the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services, and Texas State Library and Archives Commission (2017).
