Item 1 – Approval of Minutes
A motion was made by Daisy Staples, seconded by Sue Cicherski that the minutes be approved.The motion carried unanimously.
Item 2 – Council Action Report
Item 3 - Chairperson Report
Larry Stipes spoke about weight room fees. There was discussion between board members and staff about the fees of weight room memberships. A new fee schedule will be discussed in October.
Item 4 –Information Items
A. Advisory Council Reports
Advisory council members made presentations on their quarterly activities.
Paul stated that the Parks and Recreation budget looks good at this point.
Paul asked the Board members to think about going to TRAPS in March.
D. Athletic/Aquatic Activities Update
E. Recreation Activities Update
Dwight spoke about upcoming events.
F. Current Projects Update
Casey Tate stated that the rain has slowed down the construction on the current projects.

Item 5 – Committee Reports
A. Appointment of December Awards Committee
Paul asked the board for their opinion on the awards that are being given out to volunteers. It was agreed to not give too many Super Star awards so as not to dilute its importance.
Carol appointed the following for the December awards committee:

Sue Cicherski
Roberta Carnley
Ann Dillard
Daisy Staples
Item 6 – Future Agenda Items
Centennial committee will be on the agenda in November.
