Abandoned Vehicles

The City of Irving has ordinances that prohibit abandoned, inoperable and junk motor vehicles.  All abandoned, inoperable, or junk motor vehicles on private property must be parked or stored within a completely enclosed structure. 
 

To report an abandoned, inoperable, or junk vehicle on private property, call Inspections, 972.721.4929 Available 24 hours a day. Please provide description of vehicle and address.
 

Complaints about vehicles parked on public property are handled by the Police Department.  To report an abandoned, inoperable, or junk vehicle that is on public or city-owned property call the Police Department at 972.721.2518.
