How: Fill out an application!

When: Twice a year, once in the Spring and once in the Fall.

Where: The Academy meets at the Irving Fire Department Public Education Station, 1230 Glenwick and at the Irving Police / Fire Training Academy, 2603 Esters Road.

Tuition: Free!

Minimum Requirements:

Recruits must be 18 years of age and live or work in the City of Irving to attend the Academy. You must fill out an application and pass a background check. We only take a maximum of 16 in each class to allow for each participant to have the "hands on" experience, if they choose too.
