How: Fill out an application! When: The Academy is offered two times a year, spring and fall, and meets one evening per week from 7 to 10 P.M. for 11 weeks there is also one all day Saturday class included. Where: The Academy meets at the Public Education Station, 1230 Glenwick and at the Irving Police / Fire Training Academy, 2603 Esters Road. Tuition: Free! Minimum Requirements: Recruits must be 18 years of age and live or work in the City of Irving to attend the Academy. You must submit an application and pass a background check.
