Dear Irving Resident:

Your Irving Fire Department installs FREE smoke alarm to qualified residents within the City of Irving.

You must meet one of the following requirements to have a free smoke alarm installed:

A.   You are a low income family

B.   You are 62 years of age or older

C. One or more family members has a mobility impairment

D.   You have other extenuating circumstances

*Please note that free smoke alarms will not be installed in rental property.

Below is a link to the application and release forms. Please fill out the forms completely. Mail or bring them to the Irving Fire Department Fire Administration Building, 845 W. Irving Blvd., Irving, Texas 75060. Please do not take these forms to the fire stations. If you have further questions, please feel free to call 972.721.3695.
