Smoke Alarm Application Dear Irving Resident:Your Irving Fire Department installs FREE smoke alarm to qualified residents within the City of Irving. You must meet one of the following requirements to have a free smoke alarm installed: A. You are a low income family B. You are 62 years of age or older C. One or more family members has a mobility impairment D. You have other extenuating circumstances *Please note that free smoke alarms will not be installed in rental property. Below is a link to the application and release forms. Please fill out the forms completely. Mail or bring them to the Irving Fire Department Fire Administration Building, 845 W.
