     The file contains St. Louis Southwestern Railway Company of Texas operations books and forms from the early 1900s.  The material was found in a deserted train station in Clinton, Texas, and donated to the Irving Archives.  The file also contains stubs from a railroad receipt book granting monthly credit in amounts of $5-$20; two baggage forwarded booklets, 1904 and 1912; blank forms used to denote the status of freight trains and cars at a station; and to report the weather at the station.  The information was reported everyday at 7 a. m.  Also included are three rusty, square nails found at the abandoned station.
