Description: Charles Schulze, son of C. P. and Virginia Schulze, stands in his father's car. C. P. Schulze worked with his brother J. O. Schulze on a Rock Island Railway survey crew.  J. O. left the crew in the fall of 1902 and co-founded the town of Irving in 1903. C. P. Schulze continued traveling with the crew. In 1905,       J. O. asked his brother to come to Irving and take over his lumber business.
