With a few exceptions, these database resources are available to in-library and remote users. If you are accessing this page from outside of the library, you will be prompted to enter your library card number prior to being connected to the resource. If you do not have an Irving Public Library card, you may register online for a WebCard, which will allow you to access the databases.

Funding for some of these database subscriptions comes from the TexShare Databases Program of the Texas State Library.

TexShare uses its position as a state library program to provide numerous resources to public, academic, and medical libraries that they might not otherwise be able to afford. The Irving Public Library also participates in the TexShare Card program.
