Residents Encouraged to Provide Input on Redesigning Irving Boulevard
Irving has launched a study of Irving Boulevard, from State Highway 183 to Loop 12, to identify opportunities to visually enhance the area and foster new retail and commercial development.
Upcoming presentations and public input meetings for Designs on the Boulevard are as follows:
• June 12, 5:30 p.m.
• Sept. 4, 5:30 p.m.
The city hosted its official public kick-off meeting in April. More than 120 people attended the public reception, courtesy of the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce, and a presentation by the consultant team. Community members were invited to ask questions and provide feedback on their visions for the boulevard.
The meetings will be held at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd. Public input also may be provided online. Click “Designs on the Boulevard” on the home page to submit information or to learn more about the study.
