Resident Leaders Needed for Boards, Commissions

Residents who would like to serve their city are encouraged to apply for a volunteer position on one of the many boards, commissions or committees. Board and commission members advise the City Council on a variety of issues and play a significant role in maintaining interaction between residents and city government. Residents must apply by Sept. 26 to be considered for appointment in November. The application is available online. Call the City Secretary’s Office at (972) 721-2493 for more information.
