The annual poster contest provides fifth- and sixth-grade students with an opportunity to showcase artistic talents as they express how a person with disabilities can use his or her abilities to be part of the community. Entries were judged on originality of concept and the content of how it relates to persons with disabilities.

Posters will be on display at the Irving Independent School District administrative offices, 2621 W. Airport Freeway, from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Monday through Friday during early November. Call (972) 600-5088 for details.
