No more standing in line to sign up for city’s recreational programs. To enjoy city recreational programs, ActiveNet registration is now required.
Beginning this fall, recreation center patrons must register for programs online using ActiveNet. The new online registration service eliminates the need to stand in lines at recreation centers on registration days by providing a new, convenient option to participants. With the change, those interested in participating in Irving’s fall recreational programs can conveniently sign up for programs from any Internet-enabled computer. To get started, prospective and current membership ID cardholders must complete the following steps.
Step 2: Purchase a Membership
Note: Fees for existing members will be waived for the first year.

Patrons without Internet access can complete ActiveNet registration using computers at city libraries. Front desk staff at recreation centers also are available for assistance. For more information, visit cityofirving.org/parks-and-recreation or call (972) 721-2501.
The Parks and Recreation Department provides a number of volunteer opportunities that support programs and services. Volunteers help us to provide an enhanced level of service to the residents of Irving, while in turn providing much appreciated assistance to the Parks and Recreation staff.
