Irving is home to hundreds of eating establishments, ranging from casual to fine dining and offering cuisines from across the globe.  Taste of Irving offers an opportunity to sample selections from the menus of these restaurants, while enjoying live music, children's rides and activities, and a marketplace featuring unique and handmade items.  Set in Cimarron Park and adjoining Landry Elementary School, parking and admission are free.  Call (972) 721-2501 for more information. CBS 11 Main Stage

Taste of Irving features more than just great food!  Enjoy live music performances on the CBS 11 Main Stage throughout the day by Texas country and blues bands and visit with representatives from CBS 11 and TXA 21.

Baylor Medical Center at Irving Fun Zone

Free activities for children are spread throughout the Baylor Medical Center at Irving Fun Zone.  Face painting, air brush tattoos and balloons give kids something fun to take home, while memories made at the petting zoo and pony rides will last forever.  Take on the giant slide, two story bungee, inflatable zipline and more for great thrills! 

Food Plaza & Marketplace

Don't forget your wallet, as there will be plenty to purchase at Taste of Irving!  Irving restaurants will be selling sample-sized items from their menus, ranging from international and traditional American cuisines to desserts and specialty beverages.  Crafters featuring unique jewelry, artwork, furniture, clothing and more await curious shoppers.  All food and craft vendors accept cash; ATM machines will be available on-site.

Summer Programs Expo

This festival kicks off the start of summer, a time when families are seeking activities to keep children engaged.  Inside of Cimarron Park Recreation Center, the City of Irving will be holding a Summer Programs Expo.  Get information about summer day camps, aquatic programs, events and classes at the Irving Arts Center, recreation centers, libraries and outside organizations.  The Summer Programs Expo will be open from noon to 6 p.m.

Food vendor booths are available only to Irving-based eating establishments.

Craft vendor booths are available to vendors selling handmade, custom or unique items in one or more of the following categories: jewelry, clothing, bags and accessories, art and decor, furniture, pet accessories, or pre-packaged foods (spices, dips, jellies, etc).  No information, demonstration or corporate booths are permitted.  Corporations wishing to participate may find sponsorship information here.

Summer Programs Expo booths are available to businesses and organizations offering summer camps, programs and activities for children under the age of 18 during the summer of 2014.

Directions and Parking

Located in the Valley Ranch community at the intersection of E. Valley Ranch Pkwy and Cimarron Trail, Cimarron Park is easily reached from any direction.  All attendee parking is located at Ranchview High School (8401 E. Valley Ranch Pkwy).  Parking is available on the north and south sides of the school.  Free event shuttles will transport attendees to the event; shuttles can accommodate strollers.  Shuttle buses will operate continuously from noon to 6:30 p.m.
-From Hwy 635 or Hwy 114 exit MacArthur Blvd and drive north.  Turn right onto Valley Ranch Pkwy.  Ranchview High School is located on the right side of the street.
-From President George Bush Turnpike exit Las Colinas Blvd and drive west. Turn right onto MacArthur Blvd, cross over Hwy 635, then turn tight onto Valley Ranch Pkwy.  Ranchview High School is located on the right side of the street.
Driving Map
-Limited street parking is available in the area immediately surrounding Cimarron Park.
-Handicapped parking is available on the north side of Cimarron Park.  From MacArthur Road turn right onto Cimarron Trail.  The lot is located on the right side of the road.
-Parking at Cimarron Park Recreation Center during Taste of Irving is limited to event passholders and Cimarron Family Aquatic Center patrons.
