The West Irving Aquatic Center provides superior aquatic operations and offers a variety of amenities with the emphasis being family activities.

Convenient location
This state-of-the-art facility is conveniently accessible by DART bus routes. Free parking will be available on the east side of Dry Branch Creek with a pedestrian bridge linking to the facility on the west side of the creek. For more information, call (972) 721-2501.

Parking for the aquatics center, which is located at 3701 Conflans Road, is available on the east eide of Dry Branch Creek with a pedestrian bridge linking to the pool on the west side of the creek. A large clock tower and covered waiting areas accentuate the entrance into the facility.

The facility has a zero-depth entry splash pool which features a water playground as well as several spray jets and a current channel. Two additional bodies of water will include elements such as a four-lane lap pool with a rock climbing wall, along with a waterfall and a wet deck connecting the lap pool with the splash pool.

The third pool is designed for toddlers and includes a zero-depth entry, small fountain and water slides. A shade structure will cover the pool to provide a cooler environment for small children.

Additional amenities include a large bath house with restrooms, lockers and showers, a concession stand and first aid room. The $4 million aquatic center is the second to be completed in Irving since 2008.

West Irving Aquatic Center is available for private rental outside of regular operational hours.

Junior Lifeguarding Class 
The Junior Lifeguarding class is design for ages 11-15.  This class is the firat step toward becoming a lifeguard and will cover prevention, fitness, emergency techiniques, leadership and professionalism. This is not a lifeguarding certification class.
