Professional Biography:
Assistant Chief Terry Zettle has been employed with the Irving Police Department since February 1982. He has been assigned to the Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Internal Affairs, Tactical, Personnel, Community Services and Special Operations Divisions. Captain Zettle was promoted to Captain in October 1999 at which time he took command of the department's South Patrol Division. He is a graduate of the 213th session of the FBI National Academy. Upon being promoted to Assistant Chief his area of responsibility was the department's Field Operations Bureau. Currently he is the Administrative Services Bureau Chief.

Professional Biography:
Assistant Chief Ramsey began his career as a patrolman in August of 1985. He has been assigned to the Patrol Division, Jail Section, Communications Section, Criminal Investigation Section and Vice/Narcotics Section. Steve has served as a Field Training Officer, Field Training Sergeant, and Field Training Coordinator. He was selected as the 2002 Supervisor of the Year. Steve was promoted to Captain in February 2005, and served in the Technical Services Division, Criminal Investigations Division, and the South Patrol Division. He was promoted to Assistant Chief on June 1, 2007 served as the Investigative Services Bureau Chief and currently serves as the Field Operations BureauChief. Assistant Chief Ramsey is a graduate of the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration, Police Supervision Course and the Command Management College.

Professional Biography:
Assistant Chief David Paris was hired by the City of Irving as a police officer in June 1986. He is a graduate of the University of Louisiana, Monroe with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice.
David started his career as a patrol officer before being transferred to the Narcotics Unit and later to the Traffic Section. He was promoted to sergeant in February 1995. As a sergeant, he served in various assignments including Patrol, Jail Section, and Community Services. In February 1999, Sergeant Paris was promoted to Lieutenant and was assigned to the Criminal Investigations Division where he served until being promoted to Captain in March 2002. As Captain, David commanded the Criminal Investigations Division and the South Patrol Division. In July, 2005 he was promoted to Assistant Chief and has served as the Field Operations Bureau Chief., and Administrative Services Bureau Chief. David's current assignment is Bureau Chief for Investigative Services.
Assistant Chief Paris is a graduate of the Institute for Law Enforcement Administration, Police Supervision Course and the Command Management College. In addition, David attended the 224th session of the FBI National Academy.
