Professional Biography
Captain John Rodriguez began his career with the Irving Police Department in February of 1986. He has been assigned to the Patrol Division, Criminal Investigation Division, Jail Section, Community Services Division, and the Vice/Narcotics Section. He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 1996, lieutenant in 2000, and in 2006 he was promoted to his current rank of Captain at which time he was assigned to the Technical Services Division and oversaw those operations and duties for two years. He is currently assigned to the Community Services Division.
