Enforcement

Irving Animal Services (IAS) Officers work seven days a week to maintain a safe and healthy environment for both humans and animals living in Irving’s 67.9 square miles. Animal Services Officers are on duty from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and are on call for emergencies after business hours, and on city holidays.

Animal Services Officers respond to the following:
  • Deceased animal pickup
  • Noise complaints
  • Wildlife concerns

All reports received by phone or online are assigned priority levels based on the nature and severity of each call. Officers will respond to the highest priority calls first. Officer response times vary based on the number of active calls and their corresponding priority levels.
