Aquatic Facilities
The city currently operates five seasonal pools located at Lee Park, Lively Park, Senter Park, Cimarron Family Aquatic Center and West Irving Aquatic Center, as well as two spray parks. The city also operates two year-round indoor facilities: North Lake Natatorium and Heritage Aquatic Center.

Heritage House
The Heritage House was built in 1912 by C.P. Schulze, brother of J.O. Schulze, a co-founder of city. The home was deeded to the City of Irving in 1975 by the Schulze heirs to be used as a tour home. The home features Schulze family antiques, as well as gifts and loans from other Irving families. The Heritage House was designated a Texas State Historical Landmark in 1986 and is open the first Sunday of each month for tours.

Jackie Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center
The Bear Creek community in west Irving is one of the oldest African-American communities in Dallas County. The three museums that comprise the Jackie Townsell Bear Creek Heritage Center tell the history of the Bear Creek community and of the African-American experience from the time of emancipation of the slaves through the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s and '60s.

Ruth Paine House Museum
Following the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, a small suburban home in Irving, Texas, and those living there were caught up in the whirlwind surrounding the tragedy. Half a century later, the historic home has been restored to its 1963 look and opened as a multimedia museum to tell the story of the events that occurred there.

Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas
The Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas represents the innovative future of meetings and events. With almost 100,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, the building’s unique architecture, vertical design, and interior finishes create a new niche in the marketplace.

Irving Golf Club
Irving Golf Club, formerly Twin Wells Golf Course, is closed for renovations and is expected to open mid-2019. Enhancements will include a new irrigation system, tee boxes, putting greens and clubhouse facilities.

Movie Series
Join the Recreation Center’s Movies Series for you and your family to enjoy for free from the comfort of your car. The 6 week series will be held every Friday beginning on Sept. 4 and end Oct. 9 with times listed below. Registration is required as due to a limited number of parking spots available at each Recreation Center. The parking lot will open one hour before show time and will be first come first serve. We ask that you stay in your vehicle at all times. Restrooms will be available inside the centers if needed but must wear a mask while outside your vehicle. Guests can bring their own food and drinks but alcohol and smoking are prohibited. For more information, please call (972)721-7318.

The Las Colinas Area Personal Transit System (APT) links with the DART Rail Orange Line at the Las Colinas Urban Center station, giving riders a quick and easy way to experience the sights and sounds of the Las Colinas Urban Center within minutes. Free service available 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; closed weekends.
