Irving Public Library eCard

Don’t have a library card but want to use the Irving Public Library online? We have an eCard for you! The Irving Public Library eCard is a virtual library card that gives you access to all of our electronic resources including online databases, downloadable audio-books and e-books.

The eCard is designed for online users who do not have an existing Irving Public Library card. If you need assistance with your current account or library card, please contact the library via online chat or stop by any of the Irving Public Library locations during business hours.

How to Obtain an eCard

Card Restrictions

The eCard is valid for one year. The eCard does not allow you to borrow library materials or to use the public computers at the library. If you wish to check out library materials or use the public computers at the library you must upgrade to a full access card when you visit the library in person.

To complete the registration process in person, please bring two forms of acceptable identification. View the Identification Requirements (PDF) for fees and accepted forms of identification.

Renewing an eCard

To renew an expired eCard, please resubmit an updated eCard application online and select your method of payment.

Additional Information

Responses to new eCard applications will be returned within one to two business days. Please email the Circulation Department if you have questions or require additional information about the eCard program.
