We Give Books is a new digital initiative that enables anyone with access to the Internet to put books in the hands of children who don't have them, simply by reading online. All of the books available for online reading are children's picture books appropriate for children through age ten. There is a mix of fiction and nonfiction, a range of authors, and an equal balance between read-alouds and books for independent readers.
ALA Notable Children's Books - Each year a committee of the Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) identifies the best of the best in children's books for all age levels (birth through age 14) that reflect and encourage children's interests in exemplary ways.
The Children’s Book Council works annually on reading lists and round-ups to help teachers, librarians, parents, caregivers, and booksellers discover wonderful books for the kids and teens in their lives.
