The Business Survey is one tool used by the city to collect and evaluate business' satisfaction with city services and their priorities for city leaders. It is an opportunity for business in Irving to tell city leaders what is going well and where improvement is needed. The survey results are used to allocate resources, evaluate service levels, and plan for the future.
The Performance Office administers the Business Survey every 12 to 18 months. It is distributed to a random sample of businesses throughout the city in all industries and of all sizes. The first Business Survey was conducted in 2014.
