Lively Pointe Youth Center
While teens are welcome at all of the city's recreation centers, they have a place to call their own at Lively Pointe Youth Center. Opened in June 2008, Lively Pointe offers a variety of opportunities and recreational outlets for students enrolled in middle and high school (ages 12 to 18). Learn more

Facility Rental

Teen Program
- 4 to 9 p.m., Monday-Friday
- 1 to 5 p.m., Saturday
Therapeutic Program
- 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday-Friday
All recreation centers are closed on major holidays, including New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Contact facility to verify holiday schedule.

Fitness Center Membership
There is no fee to use the fitness center at Lively Pointe Youth Center, but the facility is only available to teens. Participants ages 16 and older are welcome to workout unsupervised, but must have a parental waiver on file and complete the fitness room orientation class each year. Participants under the age of 16 may use the fitness center by registering for one of our staff-instructed fitness classes.
Irving Youth ACTION Council
Students looking to make a difference in the community are invited to join the Irving Youth ACTION Council. This student-led group of teens not only helps staff develop programs at the center, but it also participates in volunteer projects and special events throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
