Irving Parks and Recreation offers holiday break day camps during the school year for children in grades K-5. Activities include arts and crafts, gym games and fun field trips.
Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch each day, but they are provided with morning and afternoon snacks. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration is available at ActiveNet or on-site at city recreation centers. A valid IPAR ID card is required for registration. Fees vary.

Irving Parks and Recreation offers a full-time day camp program in five sessions of two weeks each for children ages Kindergarten-5; children must have completed kindergarten before camp begins. Camp begins the Monday after the school year ends. Camp hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Summer Splash Camp is offered at six different locations throughout the city. Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, sports, video games, and awesome twice-a-week field trips to places such as Six Flags Over Texas, Rangers baseball games, Main Event family entertainment centers and Medieval Times.
A valid Irving Parks and Recreation (IPAR) identification (ID) card is required for registration. Each session is $190 per camper, and session fees include all field trips, camp T-shirt and morning and afternoon snacks. A free lunch program is offered at all locations except Mustang Park Recreation Center.
