Where do I go to find government jobs?
USA Jobs is the official job site of the United States federal government. You can create a personal profile where you can create or upload a resume and apply for jobs. If you are looking for local jobs, check out local government, school district and college websites.
Where is the best place to find a job?
There are a lot of options when it comes to looking for a job online. If you have a specific company in mind, visit the company's website. Most company web sites have a section listing current jobs, typically labelled "Careers" or "Employment"
LinkedIn is a great professional networking tool. LinkedIn has job postings and Job Groups that you can join.
Online Job Boards like Glassdoor and Snag a Job are also a good resource for online job searching. You can get an inside look at companies, salary details, company reviews, and interview questions. Online Job Boards typically provide an option to sign up for job alerts, so you can receive emails about new job postings.

There are a few websites that are a good place to start when looking for a job. National career websites, like Monster and Career Builder, are good for a general purpose job search. These websites list the job and its description, information about the company, job duties, and qualifications.
Job search engines are great for searching across the internet for job postings. These sites are simple to use and produce a large quantity of job results. Indeed and Simply Hired are two popular job search engines. Indeed has a job saving tool, and with setting up a free account, this feature helps you to keep track of jobs you have applied for and/or want to apply to.

How do I successfully complete an online job application?
Filling out a job application online can be tricky, but there are a few common things to remember. Be sure to fill in every field on the application especially when it comes to your contact information and job history. Upload your resume or copy and paste it to email it to the hiring manager. Lastly, remember to go over and review your application before submitting it. You want to make sure that everything is accurate and correct.
