Irving Concert Series 4 Kids
Music Fun for the Little Ones
The popular music series for toddlers and preschoolers returns with four great shows! These Friday morning concerts feature fun performances by top children's music groups, encouraging children to sing, dance and play along. Children ages 5 and younger are invited to participate and learn at these interactive shows.
The fun begins when the gates of the Irving Soccer Complex open at 9 a.m. Enjoy the covered playground, free balloons, craft activities, complimentary noisemakers and the chance to meet and take photos with characters from popular children's television shows. Purchase a cold treat from the Bahama Buck's food truck, or bring a snack from home. Music shows run from 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Parking and admission are free. In the event of inclement weather, shows will be moved to an indoor location. See details on the inclement weather plan at the bottom of the page.
Parents, be sure to fill out a survey at each show to be entered in weekly drawings for tickets to Medieval Times!

Inclement Weather Plan
Concerts are rain or shine events. If inclement weather creates a potentially unsafe outdoor environment, concerts will be moved indoors to one of the following locations:
Attendees will still enjoy free parking and admission. Blankets and lawn chairs are recommended, as seating is not provided at the indoor facilities. While food vendors may be on-site in the parking lot, outside food is also allowed.
If the Inclement Weather Plan is put into effect for a concert, the listing above will be updated to indicate the change in venue.
A popular Dallas-area children’s entertainer, Mr. Willy brings fun into the lives of kids. His shows are all about singing, laughing and stories. Sometimes his puppet friends join him on stage; kids love meeting and singing with Googles, Percy, Sunshine, Ambrose and Skweewee. His enthusiasm is contagious, the songs are engaging, and he holds the attention of both children and adults throughout the show.
Sugar Free Allstars
This Grammy-featured, family funk super duo from Oklahoma City has been listed as one of Time magazine’s top 12 family music acts in America. They blend elements of soul, disco and New Orleans street parade music to provide a high energy dance party experience for all ages! Entertaining families since 2001, the show educates children while ensuring everyone has a toe-tapping good time.
With a degree in fine arts and background in early childhood education (he once owned and operated a preschool in Austin), it’s not surprising that Joe McDermott has found a way to blend the creative arts with America’s youth. He has composed music for children’s video games and educational software, and he has won multiple Parents’ Choice awards for his songs.
Author Stan Berenstain of the classic Berenstain Bears series enlisted him to adapt 10 of their books to song, stating “Joe McDermott is not only a magnificent songwriter, he’s also an absolute wizard at communicating with children through music.”
Hey Lolly Band
Created by Austin musician Laura Freeman, the band brings an interactive, educational children’s show that is fun for the whole family.
Learn about other languages, the colors of the rainbow, enjoying our beautiful Mother Earth and more! Their music has been recognized by "Parenting Magazine" as a must-have, and the shows incorporate nontraditional instruments, puppets and plenty of fun.
Join in for a rainbowlicious, puddle-stomping, monster-marching good time!
