Instructions

Online Access:

  1. Log in to your account on the Irving Public Library catalog with your library card number and PIN.
  2. Click on the New York Times – Online Access link, (located on the left side of the page) and then click on the Redeem button.
    • Note: If accessing on a mobile device, the New York Times – Online Access link will be located at the bottom of the page.
  3. You’ll be taken to a new page to create an account. Either add your email address and a password here and click Sign Up. Or if you already have a New York Times account, click Log In and enter your login information.
  4. Once you redeem a 72 hour pass, you can sign into the NYTimes app with your login.
  5. Enjoy your 72 hours of unlimited access to The New York Times!

In-Library Access:

  1. Visit New York Times on one of the library’s computers or connect your own device to our Wi-Fi: “CityofIrving-Guest”.
  2. First time users will need to register for an account by entering your email address and creating a password.
  3. Existing users must log in with the email address and password associated with their account.
  4. Enjoy unlimited access to The New York Times anytime you are at the Irving Public Library.
