Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act | Read Full Text

The CARES Act includes loan and grant programs targeting the smallest businesses, entrepreneurs and independent contractors. An allocation of $350 billion is targeted at helping small businesses keep workers employed. The Paycheck Protection Program provides federally guaranteed loans. Small Business Administration (SBA) – Disaster Loan Assistance

Texas Included in Emergency Designation for SBA Small Business Disaster Loans

Small businesses who believe they are eligible for an SBA EIDL should visit the SBA’s website to directly apply for assistance. The online application is the fastest method to receive a decision about loan eligibility. Visit the State of Texas Business page for a list of required documentation for the SBA loan process.
