While COVID-19 has put most of the city’s facilities and personal interactions on lock-down, residents can now connect with staff through a number of virtual programming opportunities. Parks and Recreation employees have been working tirelessly to engage customers through online platforms such as Facebook and Zoom. As we continue to promote social distancing, we hope that many of you will join us in maintaining your health and well-being. Take a walk in a park, read a good book, or engage with your favorite staff member in a virtual class. The novel coronavirus may have changed the way we interact with each other, but it hasn’t changed our enthusiasm for Irving and its residents!
Our menu of classes is as diverse as our residents! From preschool crafts and educational lessons, to online fitness instruction and live cooking demonstrations, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Available classes can be viewed through the online calendar, or by downloading the weekly schedule below.
