The colorful world of graphic novels and the process of writing them will be on display for the next NTTBF virtual panel Family Matters. Meet author/illustrators Kathleen Gros (Jo), Kiku Hughes (Displacement), Trung Le Nguyen (The Magic Fish) and Victoria Jamieson (When Stars Are Scattered). Christina Taylor, librarian from Round Rock ISD who also serves on the Young Adult Round Table for the Texas Library Association, will moderate this panel.

Beginning Nov. 19, just in time for holiday reading, free books featured during the panel will be available for teen and tween readers. Books by the panelists will be distributed at random inside the libraries and at Curbside and Drive Up Window locations at the South, West and Valley Ranch Libraries. Information and dates are subject to change.

Extras for young readers: A limited supply of free books from the attending authors' featured works will be available for teen readers starting the day of the panel until supplies run out. Distribution will take place at all Irving Library locations, with the exception of East Learning Center. The selection of books will be at staff discretion and as inventory allows.
