Clue Game

Irving Parks and Rec Virtual Clue Game logoThis quarantine has finally gotten to the Parks and Recreation Department staff!

Everyone is tired of the cancellations or delays and ready to get back to swimming, playing ball and attending special events. Enough is enough, and we are done with the evil Dr. COVID who started this pandemic!

Are you a good enough detective to figure out which Parks and Recreation Department employee was involved in the evil Dr. COVID demise? Where did they do it? What weapon was used?

Find the clues

Clues will be hidden along Spring Trail, through Bird’s Fort Trail, 5964 Riverside Drive, to the entrance of Campion Trail at the corner of Northwest Highway and Riverside Drive.

Use the map to help find the clues that will help you and your family solve the crime. Signs will be along the trail to keep you on track and in the right direction.

Helpful information and rules

Keep your eyes open for paper clues along the trail that will either mention a suspect, weapon or location that wasn’t a part of the crime. You will need to walk, bike or run on the paths to ensure you don’t miss any evidence. The total distance of the trail is 1.3 miles one way.

Irving Parks and Recreation encourages safe exercise and out-of-doors activities, while continuing to follow CDC guidelines, including washing hands, wearing a face covering and avoiding close contact by maintaining 6 feet of distance between others.

Please respect all parks and leave the Clue Game signs in place for more participants to find and enjoy. This activity is meant for everyone to enjoy and explore the great Campion Trail in Irving.

Download the Irving Clue Game Card to help you use while you are walking the trail to mark off each clue that you and your family find along the way. Once you solve the crime, make sure to come back and submit your answers for a chance to win some fun prizes.

This mystery game runs July 31 to Aug. 16 for families to enjoy.
