To begin new Commercial service, an Application for Services (PDF) must be completed and brought to the Customer Service counter at City Hall, 825 W. Irving Blvd., during normal business hours. In order to receive same-day service, the application must be submitted by 2 p.m. Applications can also be submitted online at MyIrvingBill.org. Applications submitted online are available not available for same day service and must be submitted no earlier than 3 days ahead of when the service is needed.
Items to Provide
Please be prepared to provide the following:
- The service address, including the suffix (e.g., St., Ln, Dr., Blvd., etc.)
- The date service is to begin
- Certificate of Occupancy
- Taxpayer ID
- Primary contact phone numbers
- Mailing address (if different from the service address)
- Payment of required deposit
- Payment of connection fee
Additional Information
No one needs to be at the residence when the service is activated, as long as all faucets are turned off there. If the water meter is running when the technician activates service, the water will be shut off to protect against potential leaks that might damage the property. The technician will attempt to make contact at the door if this occurs.
If no contact is made, a notice will be posted on the front door requesting someone contact Customer Service to arrange a time to activate the service.
