Due to the COVID-19 emergency, the annual tax preparation service provided through the Heritage Senior Center will follow these guidelines:
To schedule an appointment, call (972) 721-2496 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Appointments are scheduled up to one week in advance only; voicemails are not accepted as valid appointment times. Appointments will be held on Mondays and Thursdays from Feb. 15 to April 15. Available time slots are 8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
Envelopes with the tax packets and additional information will be available for pick up directly outside of the main entry doors of the Heritage Senior Center, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. The mission of this program is to provide free basic tax return preparation for low- to moderate-income (annual income <$60,000) and elderly taxpayers. This also includes taxpayers with disabilities, limited English proficiency and current and former military.
