I have been with the Irving Police Department for four years. I am currently assigned to the Gang Unit and a member of the Hostage Negotiator Unit. I was born and raised in Oak Cliff within the City of Dallas. I was a lateral Police Officer of seven years from a police department in Dallas County, TX. Working in Irving has been an overall great experience, from welcoming peers to a great community that backs the police department. Seniority moves fast, plenty of specialized units and the salary is superior to most agencies in the DFW area. It was an easy and rewarding decision for my family and me.
