Friday, April 5: Wanda King big band revue

7 p.m.

Wanda KingWanda King, a dynamic force in the world of music, is the visionary behind the Allstar Big Band Revue—a collective of world-class musicians that paints the town with a vibrant palette of R&B, Jazz, Blues, and Soul. Born into the blues legacy as the daughter of the legendary Freddie King, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Wanda has carved her own niche as a promoter, producer, and an indomitable presence in the music industry.

Beyond the stage, Wanda King has become a cornerstone in the promotion and production of local music events. Her keen eye for talent has shone through in events that have showcased luminaries such as Gary Clark Jr., Johnny Winter, Bobby Blue Bland, and Edgar Winter. Wanda's dedication to nurturing local talent is evident in the stage she has provided for both emerging and established artists.

The Wanda King Big Band Revue stands as a testament to Wanda's commitment to musical diversity. With a seamless blend of R&B, Jazz, Blues, and Soul, the collective sound crafted by these exceptional musicians is nothing short of a sonic journey that transcends genres.
