West Digitizing Lab
West Irving Library is the proud home of the City of Irving's first digitization lab. This space contains a VHD to DVD converter, ION Audio Premier LP, Titan F2D 8-in-1 Hi-Def Film to Digital Converter, the technology to transfer floppy disks, cassettes and records to digital, podcasting equipment, a photo studio lightbox, and more.
This space is intended for adults 18+ and requires a valid Irving library card, a signed MiY Zone waiver and an orientation with library staff before guests can use the equipment. Once trained, guests are welcome to reserve time in the lab at the reference desk or by calling 972-721-2691.
Final touches are currently happening and the lab will be fully available soon.
