About Towne is a biweekly half-hour arts series that highlights Irving’s excellent local artists and craftsmen, entertainment venues and arts organizations. It also serves the viewing audience by publicizing upcoming concerts, performances, festivals and events.

About Towne: 2019 Extra – We’ll ring in the New Year with "About Towne 2019: Extra," a look at some stories we covered in 2019 but didn’t include in a show. We have the Salvation Army Super Lunch 2020, Glory House Grand Re-Opening, Play Ball! at Cimarron Park, and more! Plus we’ll have details on this year’s MLK Observance, Frost Fest and the Irving Black Arts Council’s annual Black History Month exhibition, “Artistic Expressions from Within.”

JAN. 30-feb. 12

About Towne – Next time on About Towne we’ll have highlights from the 2020 MLK Observance: Keep Moving Forward. We’ll preview MainStage ILC’s production of “Pride & Prejudice,” and we’ll check out the Family Winter Games at Lee Park. Plus, we’ll have details on auditions for Irving’s Got Talent 2020 and the Irving Black Arts Council’s Black History Month Exhibit, “Artistic Expressions from Within.”
