Information Session
The City of Irving hosted a General Subrecipient Information Session for all nonprofits interested in how the City's CDBG and ESG grants work. This session was held on Friday, Feb. 24th. Another session will be held soon!

CDBG AND ESG FUNDING FOR Fiscal Year 2023-24
The City of Irving is the recipient of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds.
CDBG funds can be used to address a range of Housing and Community Development activities. ESG funds can be used for Irving Emergency Shelter maintenance and operations.
The City of Irving is seeking applications from eligible organizations to assist low- to moderate-income Irving residents. Funding processes and priorities will be outlined in the documents below.

CDBG Application Training was held on Friday, March 10 at 8:30 a.m. in the First Floor Council Conference Room at City Hall. This application is mandatory for agencies that not received CDBG funding from the City of Irving within the last two years. All other agencies are encouraged to attend.

HOME Funding
Check back later: Home investment partnership grant (home) for fiscal year 2023-24
The City of Irving is the recipient of HOME Investment Partnership Grant (HOME) funds, which are used to increase available affordable housing. HOME funds must be used to purchase, construct, rehabilitate and resell single-family homes to income-qualified buyers.
Eligible nonprofit organizations that meet the qualifications to be considered a Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDOs) are encourage to apply for CHDO Reserve funding.
