The Housing and Redevelopment will be hosting two public hearings with regard to the proposed FY 2023-2028 Consolidated Plan and the 2023-2024 Action Plan for use of federal funds under the following grant programs of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD): Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG). All residents are encouraged to attend. The first hearing will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at 6:00 pm, at the beginning of the Irving Housing and Human Services Board regular board meeting. The second hearing will take place at the beginning of the Irving City Council meeting on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 7:00 pm. The purpose of these public hearings will be to receive resident input and to receive comments from agencies and/or individuals regarding recommended allocations and activities for each of the grants.

The public are encouraged to provide comments during the public comment period. Comments on the proposed plan will be received from Monday, June 19, 2023 through Friday, July 21, 2023 in writing via email to DeLiza Gierling at dgierling@cityofirving.org.
