Seeking Public Input: Take the Community Needs Survey

Sample Small Lot Housing

Residents, business owners and other stakeholders are invited to take the Community Needs Survey and share their opinions related to affordable housing, homelessness and community resilience.

During the next five years, the City of Irving expects to receive about $16 million in federal funding to support community development activities. Survey responses will help inform decisions about the city’s investment of federal funding and its fair housing efforts. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

The city engages in a community-led planning process every five years to ensure the investment of federal funding meets local needs, and 2023 marks the start of the new planning cycle. For more information, call Housing and Redevelopment Division at (972) 721-4800.
