City Holiday May 29; Libraries Closed

In observance of Memorial Day, all Irving Public Libraries, as well as most other city facilities, will be closed Monday, May 29. Regular business hours resume Tuesday, May 30. In addition, the following facilities will be closed:

  • City Hall 
  • Heritage Aquatic Center
  • Hunter Ferrell Landfill
  • Irving Archives and Museum
  • Irving Arts Center
  • North Lake Natatorium
  • Recreation centers

In addition, there will be no residential trash, curbside recycling or brush collection Monday, May 29. All trash, recycling and bulky/brush pickups normally scheduled May 29-June 1 will be conducted May 30-June 2.

Visit CityofIrving.org/Aquatics for information on the opening of outdoor pools for the summer season.

All offices and services will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 30.
