May 6 City Council Election Results; June 10 Runoff Election

May 6 Unofficial Results

Mayor Rick Stopfer ran unopposed. He was sworn in on Wednesday, May 17.

Registered voters will head back to the polls for runoff elections between Mark Zeske and Abdul Khabeer for district Place 3 and Heather Stroup and Mark Cronenwett for district Place 5. The runoff election will be held Saturday, June 10.

All 10 of the Home-Rule Charter Amendment propositions were passed by Irving voters. View the Amendment Propositions 

June 10 Runoff Election

The runoff election is required because none of the three candidates that ran in district Place 3, nor of the five candidates that ran in district Place 5, garnered a majority of votes as required by the City Charter.

Early voting runs May 30-June 6; runoff election day is Saturday, June 10. For specific times and voting locations, visit DallasCountyVotes.org.

Residents of Dallas County may vote at any Dallas County Voting Polling location during Early Voting and on Election Day.
