Residents and stakeholders attending the Oct. 19 Public Meeting at Lee Park Recreation Center, 3000 Pamela Ave., got the first chance to see the design concept for the proposed new Lee Park pool. Irving Parks and Recreation and Capital Improvement Program staff, along with the design firm, took the cumulative input from residents and stakeholders earlier this year to create the current design concept. View the presentation.
Meeting attendees were provided the chance to comment and make suggestions to the concept design. The input gathered at the meeting will be analyzed to update the concept before presenting to Irving City Council later this year.
In this excerpt from ICTN's "City Source," see some of the concepts shared.
The project is part of the "Let's Play Irving: Elevating Aquatics and Recreation" initiative that involves four recreation centers in Irving.
